There are four types of Aikyashree Scholarship which are as follows:

  • West Bengal Merit Cum Means Scholarship: This scholarship supports minority students in professional and technical courses, covering financial needs based on merit and ensuring access to higher education.
  • Post-Matric Stipend Under Talent Support Program: This stipend aids underperforming students (below 50%) from class 9 to Ph.D., providing financial support to continue their education and improve academically.
  • Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities: This scholarship supports meritorious minority students from class 11 to post-graduation, covering various courses and reducing financial barriers to higher education.

Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship Types and their eligibility criteria are as follows:

Pre-Matric Scholarship

  • For Class 1-10 students.
  • Family income should be less than Rs. 2 Lakh.
  • Must secure 50% marks in the previous exam (except Class 1).

Post-Matric Scholarship

  • For Class 11 to PhD students.
  • Family income should be less than Rs. 2 Lakh.
  • Must secure 50% marks in the previous exam.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

  • For UG/PG technical/professional course students.
  • Family income should be less than Rs. 2.5 Lakh.
  • Must secure 50% marks.

Talent Support Programme

  • For students (Class 11-PhD) with less than 50% marks in the previous exam.
  • Family income should be less than Rs. 2 Lakh.

Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum-Means Scholarship (SVMCM)

  • For Class 11-PG students.
  • Family income should be less than Rs. 2.5 Lakh.
  • Minimum 60% (HS), 55% (Engineering), or 53% (PG).
