Only the first-year cost is considered. A maximum of 50% of total cost will be covered. This includes tuition fees, books, living cost and other expenses. The cost is decided by the foreign university. Any financial aid granted by them is first deducted. Then, the scholarship is applied. Other streams are not eligible.

About Savitribai Phule Pune University
Savitribai Phule Pune University, earlier known as University of Pune, was established in 1949 under the Poona University Act which was passed by the Bombay Legislature. It is a public state university and is located in Pune, India. The campus is spread over 411 acres and situated in northwestern side of Pune city. Eligibility Criteria

- The candidate should be a graduate from the Engineering Faculty or studying in the last year (B.E./B.Tech) of any branch at Savitribai Phule Pune University.

- If the college/department name is not listed, the Principal should send a valid NBA accreditation certificate to dkbhave@pun.unipune.ac.in.
- The candidate should have secured a confirmed admission based on merit for a Master’s degree in Engineering and Technology at an accredited foreign university in the USA, Canada, Germany, or England.
- The purpose is to encourage students to return to India after their Master’s degree to help India compete in the global economy.
Note: Students who already got enrolled in a Master’s program abroad are not eligible.
