Eligibility Criteria

- Relaxation for SC/ST/PC: Minimum 55% or OGPA of 7.00/10.00, 3.50/5.00, 2.80/4.00, or 2.10/3.00.
- Nationality: Open to Indian citizens or those domiciled in India.
- Exclusive Commitment: Scholarship holders cannot hold any other paid or unpaid position.
- Minimum Age for Ph.D.: 21 years as of July 31st of the admission year; no age relaxation.
Duration & Expansion of IARI Scholarship
- M.Sc. Duration: 2 years (Junior Scholarship).
- Ph.D. Duration: 3 years (Senior Scholarship).
- Extension (General): M.Sc. – 3 months; Ph.D. – 6 months.
- Extension (SC/ST/PC): M.Sc. – 6 months; Ph.D. – 1 year.
- Introductory Course Benefit: Additional 1-year scholarship for first-year agricultural students.
- Total Scholarship Limit: M.Sc. – 3 years 3 months; Ph.D. – 4 years 6 months.
- Performance Requirement: OGPA of 6.50/10.00 by the third trimester; minimum 6.00/10.00 to continue enrollment.
- Residency Requirement: Scholarship valid only if residing in the PG Institute and hostel until viva voce.

Step 5: Alternatively, candidates can buy the application form directly from Syndicate Bank, Pusa Campus.
Step 6: The cost of the form is Rs. 500, or Rs. 250 for SC/ST/PC candidates.
Step 7: Additional bank charges will apply when purchasing the form from the bank.
Step 8: The application form, Information Bulletin, Admit Card, and Acknowledgement Card are also available for download from the IARI website.
